Membership in the Cape Cod and the Islands Chapter AGO is open to any interested individual who supports the mission of the AGO. Voting membership is open to ALL who are interested in the organ and choral music fields. No examination is ever required for membership. The American Guild of Organists is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization, chartered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.


VOTING MEMBER:

    National and Regional Conventions

    Chapter events: performances, workshops, meetings,
    and seminars

    Competitions in organ performance, organ improvisation,
    and organ and choral composition

    Pipe Organ Encounters for youth and adults

    PipeWorks for elementary school children

    Certification

    The AMERICAN ORGANIST Magazine

    Educational brochures, chapter newsletter, audio
    and video cassettes and pamphlets

    Salary and compensation guidelines

    Chapter placement services

    Support for musical education of clergy

    Management and planning for church musicians

CHAPTER FRIEND (NON-VOTING MEMBER):

    Support the local Chapter

    Does not include voting privileges, membership benefits, or a TAO subscription
